Choose Your Own Adventure Book

A little over 10 years in the making. Worth it.

There was so much elation after finishing the book. It had to take a gallbladder to do so. The last time I opened the book was way back in high school. But for the lack of interest in reading such genre, the book ended up in the shelf, untouched. Ergo, unnoticed for almost more than a decade.

My eyes would next stop at Kalid Ashraff�s In The Desert. Set in Middle East, this charming inter-racial love story, as I was told by a friend, mentioned about how Filipinas as wives. It was on a positive note though. There were 3 Filipinas who took a cameo role in the novel. How they were described, I have yet to find out. Read!

Meanwhile, Mama is watching Wow Wowee. I so despise the show [as how Jayna describes the feeling, despise]. It�s like broadcasting �kahirapan sa buhay�, moreover sensationalizing and making fun of, both; the mahirap at ang kahirapan.

I have nothing against them, pero naman, you�ll learn that these people have what? 7-10 children. Kung ikaw mayaman, maiisip mo bang tulungan ang mga taong mahirap na nga, anak pa ng anak?

The Post-Surgery rendition

Well, rendering it my way wasn�t bad at all. And I didn�t feel anything bad at all. I guess, the wounds are healing inside. I just don�t know if it was just me, or the gallbladder, or the arrangement, or the organ, or my cousins, or the voice that has rested for a week that made my singing almost like a career-like stint earlier. Cousin Diesel, who�s into Conservatory of Music in Diliman said that it was ok. General Average: 6.5

Muscle Activity and the 6 Stones

Muy, katawan!

Oh Katawan. Katawan. Oh Katawaaaaaan. Waaaan.

Katawan.

The last time I was in the gym ripping my muscles hard was 6 days before the operation, that was, to re-calculate, 4 days before I was confined. I think I�ve lost some muscle mass because of soft diet during the entire ordeal. And I generally lost 3 lbs already. Oh my body!

Ang dating mala-Koreanong Katawan, ngayon mala-Koreana na lang!

1. What was the first thing you thought this morning?

- The stitches and how excited I am to heal. I miss physical activities so much and I am anticipating a lot of workout after 6 weeks. I plan to continue boxing again. Well, it was just a week knack but I am getting the excitement being on the ring. I am also excited about the plan on getting advance classes for Pole Dancing.

2. What did you want to be when you were a kid?

- PILOT. Initially wanted to run a plane. Our neighboor Henry, during that time was in 4th year college in PATTS. He encouraged me to take the course when I was only 9 years old. Ano�ng malay ko dun? My parents probably felt relieved when I decided to go to Theatre instead. The tuition fee was way beyond the expectation.

3. What do yo have handy on your bedside?

- The TV remote is always on the swivel chair right beside the bed. That�s what I usually do seconds after opening my eyes, open the television. Late or not late, it�s automatically turned-on by my system. That�s what you call involuntary turning-on the TV.

4. Are you currently planning a trip?

- Sa kalagayan kong ito, sira ulo na lang ako kung magpaplano akong umalis ng bahay. I have been confined at home for the last 2 weeks, though I think that going to 7-11 is now a trip for me. But I�ll save that after the 3rd week. Humanda silang lahat sa pagbabalik ng numero uno lakwatsero.

5. Stuck on a deserted island and could bring one thing?

- Unused lighter.

6. What was the most exciting thing you�ve done last week?

- Enduring the pain that it was. For 4 consecutive days, I have endured the most painful thing happened internally. And I don�t miss how it was. Noooooo Waaaaay!

7. Ever get so drunk and you don�t remember the entire night?

- It�s just a myth. No matter how wasted one is, he will remember! It�s just an excuse. Though I remember most of them, I regret some of the things that transpired, in most cases especially, if they were about the walk-out scenarios, point-my-finger-to-you drama at ang walang kamatayang diyalogong pampelikula gaya ng: �No, you don�t love me. You don�t even like me. You�re just using me to feed your ego�
